Overhauled with following: Steam clean windings, armature and metal parts. Bake windings Megger windings Hi-potential test windings Potential comparison drop test field windings and commutating coils Check all leads Bar to Bar armature Check commutator tightness and tighten if necessary Check armature bands Measure commutator diameter Varnish treat and bake frame in Class H varnish Turn and undercut armature Balance armature Micrometer check bearing housings, shafts and frame fits Provide and install new bearings (included) Check brush holders, check brush holder springs for proper tension and brush holder jumper leads Install new brushes (included) Assemble motor and check end play, bearing clearance and bearing run out Install new gaskets Run motor at full RPM Check bearing steady state temperature Check vibration Inspect pinion (if applicable) Seat pinion on shaft (if applicable) Dial indicate pinion(if applicable) Seal upper field housing bolts New Paint: National Blue
